Walk to the show from a lakefront condo.
Catching a show at the Dillon Amphitheater? Where you stay makes the night. Our condo is about a five-minute walk from the gates — here’s why that matters, plus what to know about concert nights and parking.
The Dillon Amphitheater sits right on the shore of Lake Dillon, one of the most scenic concert venues in Colorado. Our 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo is a short, flat walk away — so you can leave the car at the condo, walk to the show, and stroll home to the fire and the balcony afterward. It sleeps six, which makes it ideal for a group heading to a concert together.
Most shows are summer evenings on the lakefront. Gates typically open a couple of hours before the music; arrive early for lawn seating and the sunset over the water. Bring a layer — even in July, lakeside evenings cool off fast at 9,000 feet. Many events are free; always check the official schedule at dillonamp.com for dates, set times and any bag or seating rules.
This is the part most visitors get wrong. Parking right at the Amphitheater is limited and fills quickly on show nights, and event-night parking rules differ from ordinary overnight parking around town — some lots restrict or tow after hours. Staying within walking distance sidesteps all of it: your car stays in our reserved heated-garage spot, and you simply walk to and from the venue. No lot scramble, no post-show traffic, no designated driver.
Pair your show with a Friday Farmers Market, a morning on the lake, and dinner at one of our favorite local spots before the gates open.
